I have purchased over 6 brands of exfoliants (including $50+ tube of Kiehl's and the cheap over the counter Apricot Scrub) and this Avalon scrub is the best. I use it every other day to exfoliate and my skin feels soft and looks bright and vibrant. What sets this scrub above all is the right amount of abrasive and there is no reside left once you rinse. In fact, my skin is left squeaky clean. I don't know what the old formula is like but I love this one and I hope they never change it. I will use it for life. BTW, it smells great!

I recently had an allergic reaction to something, so I started to re-examine all my cosmetics. I decided to go more organic and found this fantastic Lavender line. This scrub brightens my skin and preps it for the ultimate moisturizer that I use after that. The result has been a softer, brighter looker skin with less visible lines.

While I do like this product, it hasn't seemed to lessen my acne at all. Also, the granules in the scrub are not fine (as in small) at all so if you have very sensitive skin this might not be for you. I like how my skin does feel more soft after using it and it does not dry it out at all.

This is the best face scrub I've bought in a long time, and I normally get Origins or Clinique ($$$). After a decision to try more organic face care, I picked this up and have never been sorry. It brightens your face and slogs off dead skin cells without disrupting sensitive skin's balance AND without chemicals or animal testing. Definitely a worthwhile buy!! My roommate liked it so much she finally just bought her own...

I have extremely sensitive combination skin and this exfoliator is just right for the amount of hardness needed to remove dead skin cells. It feels like you are rubbing sand on your face, which sounds bad, but it does a much better job than many other exfoliators i have tried. In the winter I usually use it in the morning, then put moisturizer on right after and it is perfect for keeping my skin moist, while removing "unsightly" dry skin from my face.
